Nestled in the charming neighborhood of Las Fuentes, this Mexican restaurant invites guests to savor a menu bursting with traditional flavors and fresh, lovingly prepared dishes that truly evoke the spirit of Mexico.

From the first bite, Restaurant Angelita captivates with its standout dishes like the Arrachera Acompañada Con Guacamole y Papa Al Horno, where tender, perfectly grilled flank steak is enhanced by creamy guacamole and richly seasoned baked potatoes. Another crowd favorite includes the hearty Filete Relleno de Camarón Bañado En Salsa de Champiñones — succulent shrimp-stuffed filet drenched in a luscious mushroom sauce that delivers an elegant, comforting taste sensation. Not to be missed, the Chicharrón En Salsa offers crispy pork skin simmered in a piquant, flavorful sauce that tantalizes the palate.

The menu also showcases a variety of enticing dishes like savory Milanesa de Pollo, indulgent Burrito de Carne, and a delightful assortment of seafood options such as Camarones Al Aguacate, perfectly balancing freshness and richness. Sweet endings await with the homemade Pastel de Zanahoria, providing a subtly spiced carrot cake that complements the fiery, vibrant main courses. Patrons often rave about the generous portions—like the famously large fish tacos recommended by servers, each filled with crispy, flavorful pieces of fish and presented with artful plating. Another beloved dish is the molcajete, a sizzling medley of chicken, beef, shrimp, panela cheese, nopales, potatoes, small onions, and Serrano chili, served with fresh, homemade tortillas that make every bite a vibrant interplay of smoky grill flavors and fresh accompaniments.

While pricing may lean slightly higher and the restaurant is more suited for adults due to the absence of kids' meals, the quality and authenticity of the food make Restaurant Angelita a destination worth indulging in. Whether you’re looking for a sumptuous dinner, a taste of traditional Mexican soul food, or a welcoming spot to savor familiar yet expertly prepared flavors, this restaurant stands out as a heartfelt homage to the rich culinary culture of the region.

Shared fish tacos at the server's suggestion. He said they were huge and they were! Also delicious with 4 pieces of fish in each of 3 tacos. Beautifully plated! Service a little slow but overall a terrific place to eat.

Great delicious authentic Mexican food and prices real good. I had mushrrom AL ajillo since I'm vegetarian. Was not in the menu but cook offered to make me that dish. Best dish I've had in years. I had to go twice. Staff real friendly.
